All the preloaded content in both Safari Portal’s Content Library (our database of content about properties and destinations that is available to all users) and Media Library has been meticulously curated by experts in the field. So you don’t have to worry that photos are inappropriate or low-res, and you don’t have to worry about the quality of the writing; it has all been done for you with a level of attention to detail, love, and enthusiasm that is unrivaled in this space.

As a tech company ourselves, we strongly believe in the power of tech to help support travel professionals by automating things that can be automated, but it is super important that the tech doesn’t replace or undermine the value of the personal touch in the process. At the end of the day, what a travel professional ultimately brings to the table is their own personal knowledge and expertise, and Safari Portal allows tour operators and travel agents to communicate that in a way that reflects their own personality: ultimately our itinerary builder, content management system, and client management system is a tool to empower you to be you, rather than something that forces you to fit into a square box when you want to be round!

This is why, whilst we do have API integrations throughout the platform for example to pull in flight information by simply searching the flight number or route, we do not rely on API integrations to pull in any content into the system. This is all done by hand so that we can ensure the quality of content throughout the platform - from reviewing copy that was written by non-native English speakers to handpicking what photos go where, to checking that photos are high res enough to display well on any screen size.
