Igor Aleksandrov is the CTO of SafariPortal. Born in Tver, Russia, he’s been building web apps with Ruby on Rails since 2008 and has spent 20+ years in software engineering. In 2025 he packed up and moved to the US, where he now lives in Georgia and keeps busy building SafariPortal into a travel CRM that agencies actually enjoy using.

When he’s not writing code, you’ll usually find Igor underwater or on the court. He’s a PADI Rescue Diver who loves exploring the deep, and a tennis player who’s always up for a match. He’s also a bit of a maker at heart, happiest when he’s building something — whether that’s clean software or a project out in his garage shop.
